Woke up early this morning to watch the first civilian-built, privately-financed spaceship make a successful flight.
This space flight contained just the pilot (plus a pilot flying the separate launching plane), but the next two trips will include two passengers in addition to the pilot. If both missions are successful, they'll win a big prize (not sure who is sponsoring the competition) and it'll be considered a huge leap towards affordable space travel industry.
